We are delighted the Brain Health Day Team have been shortlisted for the NIHR Clinical Research Network Greater Manchester Health and Care Research Awards 2023. This success follows shortly after the team won the The University of Manchester Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health‘s Outstanding Contribution to PPIE award for “Public Engagement 2023”

Supported by the BHF Accelerator Fund and ARUK, members of The University of Manchester’s Division of Cardiovascular Science, Division of Neuroscience and the Manchester Neuroimaging Group took over Manchester Library on Saturday 18th March with Brain Health Day.

Showcasing research happening at the Centre, the day featured a series of talks from leading academics, explore science activity stands, science games, and much more. It also featured finalists from the undergraduate student poster competition that was run alongside the event.

Good luck to the team at the awards on 5 October!
