We are proud to announce that Lindonlight Collective has awarded $1.97 million to our Chair of Translational Neuro-Oncology Professor Petra Hamerlik for her pioneering work on pediatric low-grade gliomas. This important award will allow the interdisciplinary team to advance understanding and future treatment options for childhood brain tumours.

Professor Hamerlik’s research will develop 3D spheroid cultures and patient-derived models to enable more accurate preclinical drug testing and aid biomarker discovery. This critical work bridges a major gap in pediatric brain cancer research and advances the development of improved treatments for children
