One of our researchers recently spoke at a conference on stroke research.

The Stroke Association’s Amazing Brains conference was held at the Francis Crick Institute in May and celebrated the progress and innovation in the latest stroke research.

Professor Audrey Bowen’s talk, Amazing brains: thinking and memory after stroke, raised awareness of the psychological effects of stroke, the potential for research and highlighted the power of involvement by stroke survivors and carers.
