Our strategic lead Professor Omar Pathmanaban has been giving invited talks at the North American Skull Base Society meeting in Atlanta, USA this week. His lectures on the management of young patients with NF2-SWN, the biology of Vestibular Schwannoma and the future of these complex skull base tumours are areas of international renown at the Geoffrey Jefferson Brain Research Centre.

Mr Cathal John Hannan a recent PhD graduate from the centre, also presented cutting edge work on the inflammatory microenvironment in these tumours.
