Join us at Friends’ Meeting House in Manchester City Centre on Saturday 15 March for an enlightening day dedicated to brain health. Discover more about brain diseases such as stroke, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, and brain tumours.

Explore our discovery stalls to learn about the groundbreaking research happening right here in Manchester. Engage with interactive brain games and activities, ask researchers your burning questions, and take advantage of health check opportunities. Find out how YOU can contribute to the ongoing research in Manchester.

We will have a variety of talks from leading researchers and medical professionals, and don’t miss the special screening of “The Parkinson’s Project.” This inspiring film follows British climber Chris Hamper as he faces his Parkinson’s diagnosis and uses climbing to navigate his journey.

We are thrilled to announce that director and filmmaker Jess James will be joining us to introduce the film and participate in a Q&A session with the audience. The rest of the day is drop-in but you need to book for the film and Q&A.

The event is open to the public from 11AM to 3PM and is free to attend. However, to secure your spot for the film screening, please register for a ticket here or by using the QR code:

We look forward to seeing you there for an exciting day of discovery and engagement.
